We completed our self-build back in November 2024. Chris & Luke looked after us right from our first meeting in a muddy field right the way through to being handed the keys to a fully finished home. They were both always on hand to answer all my questions, stepped in when things were not going to plan, and kept our build on track for us. Their communication was great and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks to them we have our forever home and even managed to move in on the very tight timescale we imposed due to being pregnant with our second child! A fantastic team and service, I could not recommend them enough.
We are delighted with the sympathetic renovation of our old Granary and with the quality of the workmanship.

I had over two years working with Chris and Luke on a loft conversion and extension. The support and advice from Arid was fantastic all the way through from concept to completion and the end result looks amazing.

My wife and I commissioned Arid to design a brand new house project in Bembridge, and to help advise on fundamental issues of construction and design.

Adam and his team have run a very large refurbishment project for me dealing with everything from technical detailing and material selection through project management to advice on which subcontractors to use. They dealt with planning conditions and building regulation approvals as well as construction challenges and were always professional, responsive and great to deal with.
No hesitation in recommending. Listened carefully to what we wanted. Good attention to detail, nothing too much trouble. Very satisfied with the final outcome.
We are doing our first Self-Build project & were a little unsure where to start. Chris has provided us with a great design and also liaised with Planning & Building Control on our behalf, as well as giving us plenty of advice which has made the process far easier! Arid Design took on my house design and after making some really insightful design change suggestions made getting planning permission a virtually painless task. Their knowledge of the planning system is extremely thorough so we were able to discuss the art of the possible and get permission for everything we wanted in what could have been a tricky location.

This has been backed up with a lot of much needed practical advice for a first time self builder. I would not hesitate to use Arid again should I build another house.

I have worked with ARID design on 2 self build projects. As I work off the Isle I needed help in both the design, planning and project management of the 2 builds. Through out the process I have had full confidence with both Adan and Chris at ARID. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of planning and project management. They are always ready to come up with money saving suggestions and when I'm away I know the project will move forward in the most cost effective way. I plan to do the next project with them as its the most cost effective and least stressful way of building
